Snowmaking Efforts Open Additional Terrain at Heavenly

South Lake Tahoe, Calif./Nev. – January 27, 2014 –Heavenly Mountain Resort is officially opening upper High Roller trail with ski-thru access to lower High Five. Located on Heavenly’s California side, this area is accessible via Sky Express, and will feature groomed, rolling terrain.
The opening of High Roller to High Five adds 16 acres and over a mile to Heavenly’s skiable terrain.

“Heavenly’s expert snowmaking and grooming staff, together with our massive and technically advanced snowmaking system have proven once again to be a powerful combination,” said Pete Sonntag, vice president and chief operating officer of Heavenly. “We are proud to offer additional open terrain to our guests as well as consistently good conditions across the mountain.”

First Tracks for passholders is scheduled for Saturday, February 1st and Saturday, February 8th at 8 am via the Gondola, giving passholders early access to Tahoe’s best snow surface conditions.
