Heavenly Mountain Resort is Lake Tahoe’s mountain playground that provides a social vacation of experiences that bring people together to find unexpected fun both on and off the mountain.
Two States, Tons of Likes
The only ski resort in North America to span across two states, Heavenly allows skiers and riders to experience the best of both California and Nevada terrain on one epic mountain. Guests can take enviable Instagram pictures with friends and family next to on-mountain “Welcome to California” and “Welcome to Nevada” signs and capture the beauty of Lake Tahoe in the backdrop.
Views that Get Views
Take in the awe-inspiring blues of Lake Tahoe and surrounding mountain landscape on a Scenic Gondola Ride. Skiers, snowboarders, sightseers and hot cocoa drinkers can all ride the gondola together, and then hop off at the Observation Deck for a group selfie and a batch of Tahoe Blue Lemonades from Cafe Blue before heading to the top for Mountain Mary’s at Tamarack Lodge and Bar 9150’.
LAT38 brings Heavenly’s famous après scene to a whole new level on California Lodge’s rooftop with delicious street food inspired offerings like the Spicy Poke Tostada and Ultimate BLT Sliders that are sure to inspire food FOMO.
Lakeland Village Resort
Now in its second year as a Heavenly operated property, Lakeland Village is an expansive retreat right on the shores of Lake Tahoe. This beautiful townhome property less than a mile from Heavenly boasts 19 acres of lakeside woodlands and stunning views. From studios to five-bedroom townhomes, families and groups of friends will find it easy to explore, connect and enjoy all that Heavenly and South Lake Tahoe have to offer.
For the second season in a row, guests staying a Sunday evening at Gondola Vista, Lakeland Village or Zalanta Resort are invited to ski a run with the Heavenly Ski Patrol after the resort closes and attend an exclusive après at Lakeview Lodge where they’ll receive a free beverage and sample appetizers. Après Tracks is an exclusive behind-the-scenes experience.

Heavenly Holidays transforms the Heavenly Village into a holiday winter wonderland with lights, decorations, music and ice sculpting. It all culminates on New Year’s Eve with a live band, firework display and brightly-lit Gondola that descends over the crowd, signaling the start of the New Year.
Heavenly’s annual Spring Loaded event, March 23 - April 7, brings together the best of winter and spring with live music, loud outfits and various fun-filled festivities in two weeks of sun and fun. Spring Loaded kicks off with Pink Heavenly, a two-day cancer awareness event. It continues with a concert and the Gunbarrel 25 and more.
South Lake Tahoe has it all from hop-forward craft breweries to guided snowmobile tours. The energy moves from town to mountain in the morning with hip in-town coffee shops and grab-and-go breakfast options mid-mountain at Café Blue. As the day winds down, the energy shifts from mountain to town seamlessly with an on-mountain DJ Cat spinning tunes at lifts and in-town silent discos at popular bars.
Mountain DiningGrab-and-go and sit-down dining options are available at three convenient on-mountain locations. Offerings are inspired by the backdrop of the Lake Tahoe.
Tamarak Lodge and Bar 9150': Steps away from the top of the Gondola, Heavenly’s largest dining hall offers food, snacks and drinks to fuel adventures. Scenic mountain views pair well with Bar 9150’s famous Mountain Mary.
Café Blue: Offering quick snacks, coffee and drinks and the best view in Tahoe, Café Blue is a must for a pre-hike latte or a Mid Deck Margarita after yoga. Guests should stop on the way up the Gondola, as there is no access on the way down.
Heavenly Donuts (& Shaved Ice): Find the best fresh donuts in town at the base of the Gondola in Heavenly Village. Additionally, Heavenly Donuts offers shaved ice to cool down with on hot summer days.
